Happy Easter from Sally’s Vintage .It has been so lovely over the months to see so many of you in the shop,it is fast approaching two years since I moved to the new shop and also the wonderful addition of the tea shop. How time flies when you are having fun. I have’nt had so much time to post on my blog but I hope you will forgive me,for the building up and running of the business has taken so much of my time but now I am hoping to keep you all up to date with all the new things happening. Lately there have been so many new things purchased for the shop in addition to the wonderful vintage finds.Sometimes things sell so quickly I don’t have time to photograph them.
I have purchased some very chic household items, gifts and jewellery from the Birmingham trade fair which I will post shortly for you to see.
Some very exciting news in the last few months is that my husband Malcolm has given up his work to join me in the business . As a trained chef he is producing some very tasty delights in the kitchen for the tearoom. As an addition to all the lovely cakes, scones and other tasty treats, he is making lovely vintage favourites, like home made steak and kidney pudding, cottage pie, smoked haddock fish cakes, pure pork sausages with mash and onion gravy, also a special favourite, home made goats cheese and spinach muffins. The perfect end to lunch is our home made blackberry and apple crumble,or you could try our sticky toffee pudding. Hope to see you soon.
